At Aging Services for Communities we continuously work to customize our programs to meet your specific needs. Before any services are performed we take the time to meet with you, and your family if requested, to assess your individual needs. Through our one-on-one assessment we can determine what services you require and if any outside services are necessary, if so we provide referrals. Our trained assessment personnel work around your schedule, meeting whenever it’s convenient for you – weekdays, evenings, or weekends.

Our in-home care agency has long standing homemaker contracts with a number of counties throughout southern Minnesota, including: Blue Earth, Brown, Dakota, Faribault, Freeborn, Le Sueur, Nicollet, Rice, Scott, Sibley, and Waseca. A number of those same counties – Le Sueur, Waseca, and Scott – also rely on our agency to meet their residents’ transportation needs.
Our work within the Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) resides in Evidence Based Programs. These programs include but are not limited to: Matter of Balance, Living Well with Chronic Disease, Living Well with Chronic Pain, Diabetes Self Management, Aging Mastery Program, and Powerful Tools for Caregivers. Most of these programs are six (6) week classes and are free to the public.
Safety is important to you and your loved ones. At Aging Services for Communities our ever-watchful caregivers can assist in improving the safety of your home – clearing walk-ways, removing hallway obstacles, adjusting the location of everyday items, and presenting you with information to keep you safe. Our employees also observe health and overall well-being, notifying loved ones of any unusual changes.
